As a part of her first summer in DDCSP U of M, Jannice Newson, a member of the 2016-2017 cohort, conducted research on recirculating aquaculture system management. She performed this research with Dr. James Diana, a Professor of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the Director of the Michigan Sea Grant Program, and Cindy Yao, a SEAS student. This past month, Jannice got the opportunity to share her research at the 5th Annual Black Doctoral Network Conference in Atlanta, GA (October 26-28 2017).
